Genevieve Tufaro is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who joined Integrative Psychological Services in May 2019. She is a graduate of University of Pittsburgh going on to complete her graduate studies at Rutgers School of Social Work. Genevieve has a diverse background providing therapy in various modalities, including partial cares, assertive community treatment, long term residential communities, on-line counseling, and co-occurring outpatient services. She is trained in individual, group, and family therapies, with experience working with clients coping with various diagnosis including severe and persistent mental illness, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and substance use disorders. Genevieve believes in a person centered approach to therapy; combining aspects of Motivation Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, and Trauma informed care to help the client be successful in meeting their goals. Genevieve also enjoys using nature, art, music and humor to engage clients in the healing process.
