Anupama Saale, Ph.D.

 Dr. Saale-Prasad earner her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2014. She completed her internship at Greystone Psychiatric Hospital. She has experience in inpatient and outpatient mental health facilities and has worked with a wide array of mental health issues. Dr. Saale-Prasad’s particular focus of interest is neuropsychological assessments and she has extensive experience conducting assessments to clarify dementias, traumatic brain injuries, intellectual abilities, psychological functioning, and learning/behavioral difficulties in children and adults. Her psychotherapy orientation is Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Psychodynamic. She works with children who have behavioral issues, school refusal, Selective Mutism, and children and adults who have depression and anxiety.

 Dr. Saale-Prasad works at Rutgers’ University Correctional HealthCare, where she provides psychotherapy and assessment to a forensic population. She is also in private practice. Prior to her doctorate, she received her Masters in Counseling Psychology from Rutgers in 2004 and has been providing mental health services since.

She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the New Jersey Psychological Association.
